Alliance Jiu Jitsu Dallas is at 1901 Royal Lane, Suite 109, in northwest Dallas (75229). Its own site brands it simply as Alliance Dallas.

The head professor is João Gabriel Rocha, a heavyweight competitor. He started training at age three and won his first gold medal a year later. He received his black belt in 2013. His academy lists him as a four-time world champion, a four-time Pan American champion, a World Pro champion and a two-time ADCC runner-up. The IBJJF has also reported his Pan, Brazilian National and American National titles. In no-gi, he reached the open-class final of the IBJJF Pan No-Gi in Fort Worth against his brother, Pedro Rocha. His high-profile matches include a 2019 Kasai Super Series match against Gordon Ryan.

The timetable runs these class types:

  • All levels: mixed classes for every rank.
  • Beginners: a dedicated class for new students.
  • Advanced: for experienced students.
  • No-gi: dedicated no-gi classes.
  • Kids: a kids program.
  • Open mat: intermediate and advanced open mats.

Classes run from mid-morning into the evening. The full day-by-day timetable is on the academy's site.

Visiting and first class

  • Free trial: the academy offers a free trial class before you enrol. It starts with a warm-up and then moves on to basic techniques and positions.
  • Drop-ins: we could not find a published drop-in policy, so contact the academy before visiting.
  • Other Alliance schools nearby: Alliance Jiu Jitsu Keller, in the northern Fort Worth suburbs, passed its first year in 2025.

Details above were checked on the academy site, BJJ Metrics and the IBJJF in October 2026. Confirm the current schedule with the school before you go.
