Alliance Jiu Jitsu Drummoyne is at Unit 3, 150 Victoria Road, Drummoyne (NSW 2047), in Sydney's inner west. It is one of the Alliance schools in Sydney that share the alliancejiujitsu.com.au email domain. A separate academy, Alliance Sydney, runs its own early-morning and lunchtime timetable and kids classes.

Drummoyne publishes a full class ladder:

• Fundamentals: for all ages and fitness levels. New students get a free one-to-one class.
• Intermediate and advanced: recommended for blue belts and above.
• No-gi: dedicated no-gi sessions alongside the gi classes.
• Competition: competition-focused classes for students who enter tournaments.
• Open mat: a Saturday open mat.
• Private classes: booked with the academy.

The kids program is split into three age bands. Little Eagles is for ages 4 to 7, Flying Eagles for 8 to 12 and Eagle Warriors for 13 to 15, and older students move on to the adult classes. Kids classes are timetabled in the morning and the late afternoon.

The academy's public pages do not name its head instructor or list belt ranks. A member review names a coach called Ramon. If lineage matters to you, ask the academy when you book your trial. The site does not mention a women-only class.

Visiting and first class

• Free trial: a free trial can be booked online, and the fundamentals program includes a free one-to-one class.
• Drop-ins: a gym listing says visitors and drop-ins are welcome at all levels, and it marks the kids classes and open mat as drop-in. The academy does not publish a drop-in price, so contact it first.
