Fightcation 2026 - Martial Arts in the Mountains

What to expect

• It runs for 5 days. Check the organizer's schedule for how many sessions a day and whether rest time is built in.
• The listing does not name the instructors or give a price, so ask the organizer what the fee covers (training only, or food and a bed too) before you book travel.

What to pack

• The listing does not say gi or no-gi: pack a gi and a no-gi kit until the organizer confirms
• Enough training clothes for 5 days on the mat, or a plan to do laundry
• Warm layers and walking shoes for the mountains
• Flip-flops or slides for walking off the mat
• Mouthguard, finger tape and nail clippers
• A water bottle and a bag to keep worn kit apart from clean kit

Wash your kit after every session: skin infections such as ringworm and staph spread fast when many people share one mat.
