Gracie Barra's Austin school sits at 8947 Bee Caves Road in Westlake Hills, on the west side of the city, and trades as Gracie Barra Westlake Hills. Gracie Barra lists it on its own school locator as its Austin location. It is run alongside Gracie Barra South Austin at 2401 Thornton Road, which Gracie Barra says was founded in 2010 by Professor Marcio Feitosa, a fifth-degree black belt and multiple-time world champion. The two schools share one online sign-up portal, which also covers South Austin's juniors and teens program for ages 10 to 15.

The head instructor named on Gracie Barra's Austin pages is Professor Alexandre Ferreira Santos, known as "Dande". He grew up in Brasília, where Gracie Barra says he founded one of the city's first jiu-jitsu schools. He has taught for more than ten years in Brazil and the United States and has competed at the Worlds, the Pan Americans and the Brazilian Nationals. The academy's site says several Gracie Barra black belts are usually on the mat in each class.

Programs follow the Gracie Barra curriculum. The school runs an adults program, a kids program, an after-school program, a women's program, a competition class, a class for first responders, and private lessons. The site does not list a dedicated no-gi class.
