Gracie Barra West Las Vegas is at 5651 South Grand Canyon Drive (89148), in the southwest of the Las Vegas valley. It is the Las Vegas school that Gracie Barra lists on its own locator under that name.

Two black belts are listed on Gracie Barra's instructor page: Armand Silvestre and James Craig Selby. Both are Gracie Barra certified instructors. The team does not publish their lineage or competition records, so ask the school if that matters to you.

The school runs the standard Gracie Barra program ladder:

  • GBK: kids classes.
  • GBF: women's jiu-jitsu.
  • GB1: fundamentals, for beginners and white belts.
  • GB2: advanced classes.
  • GB3: the expert program for senior belts.
  • Private classes: booked with the school.

Gracie Barra's page does not list a separate no-gi program.

The timetable suits people who work days. The school is open on weekday afternoons and evenings and on Saturday mornings into the afternoon, and it is closed on Sundays. That makes it a practical option for visitors who want an evening session, as long as they bring their own gi.

Visiting and first class

  • Free class: the school's site invites new students to book a free first class.
  • Facilities: one mat, a pro shop, air conditioning, changing rooms, and a waiting area for parents and visitors. There is free on-site parking and the building has wheelchair access.
  • Visiting Gracie Barra students: Gracie Barra says members can train at any official school, so bring your membership details.
  • Drop-ins: we could not find a published drop-in price, so contact the school before you come.

Details above were checked on Gracie Barra's school pages in October 2026. Confirm the current schedule with the school before you go.
