10th Planet Austin calls its Freidrich Lane school its Austin HQ. It is at 4509 Freidrich Lane, Suite 210, in southeast Austin (78744). 10th Planet's own location page lists the school on the same street, at 4401 Freidrich Lane. Check the academy site for the current suite before your first visit.

The head coach and general manager is Gabe Tuttle, a black belt under Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez. He started at 10th Planet San Diego in 2015, received his black belt in 2019 and moved to Austin in 2020. The same team supported the opening of 10th Planet Round Rock, a second school north of the city on Gattis School Road. The academy site lists Round Rock as its second location. The Round Rock staff includes Kyle Boehm, a black belt under Eddie Bravo and John Botello.

Like every 10th Planet school, Austin teaches Eddie Bravo's no-gi system, and classes are no-gi only. The academy's programs are listed on its site.

The gym runs from 6 am to 10 pm Monday to Thursday, with an earlier close on Fridays, and opens on both Saturday and Sunday mornings into the early afternoon.

Visiting and first class

• Free class: the academy site has a "Schedule a free class" option.
• Drop-ins: we could not find a published drop-in policy, so contact the academy before you visit. 10th Planet schools are independently owned, so visitor policies vary from school to school.
• Membership: monthly dues, with hold, cancellation and refund policies published on the academy site.

Details above were checked on the academy site and 10th Planet HQ's location pages in October 2026. Confirm the current schedule with the school before you go.
