10th Planet Downtown Las Vegas is at 124 South 6th Street, Suite 180, in downtown Las Vegas (89101). It is the 10th Planet school inside the city of Las Vegas. Its sister school, 10th Planet Las Vegas, is in Henderson, at 1205 West Warm Springs Road, and is owned by the same coach.

The owner and head coach is Casey Halstead, a black belt under Eddie Bravo who also trains under Jean Jacques Machado. He came to jiu-jitsu from boxing and MMA and has more than eight years of coaching behind him. He was previously head jiu-jitsu instructor at Mark Muñoz's Reign Training Center, and he also owns 10th Planet schools in Costa Mesa, Buena Park and Orange in Southern California. He is the event coordinator and matchmaker for the Eddie Bravo Invitational. He coached as a guest on The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America and has worked with fighters including Tony Ferguson, Mark Muñoz and Carla Esparza.

The Henderson school's staff includes black belts Ron Turner and Andrew Ramm, both under Eddie Bravo. Turner has trained since 1994 and founded the gym that became 10th Planet Costa Mesa. Ramm has fought for Bellator. Brown belt Andy Balmore Prudencio, a professional fighter with a strong wrestling base, also coaches there.

The downtown school teaches Bravo's no-gi system alongside MMA, striking and wrestling, and runs fight camps for professional fighters. It also says its classes are open to complete beginners with no martial arts background.
