Leandro Lo remains a benchmark for modern gi pressure passing. From Cicero Costha’s PSLPB project to founding NS Brotherhood, he won eight IBJJF Worlds titles in five different weight classes—capped by 2022 medium-heavy gold a decade after his first black-belt Worlds title.

He was killed in São Paulo in August 2022 and inducted posthumously into the IBJJF Hall of Fame in 2023. Technique study of his career centers on knee-slide passing, side control, and top-pressure pacing.
