10th Planet NYC is in Midtown Manhattan, on the fourth floor at 35 West 43rd Street (10036), a few blocks from Bryant Park and Times Square. It is the 10th Planet school that 10th Planet headquarters lists for New York City. HQ's location page gives an older address nearby, on West 46th Street, so use the academy's own site for directions.

The owner and head instructor is Rey "Stingrey" De Leon. He grew up in Los Angeles, came up entirely in the 10th Planet system with every belt awarded by Eddie Bravo, and trained and taught at 10th Planet's Los Angeles headquarters before moving east. Headquarters lists him as a brown belt. He also has a background in Muay Thai and MMA, competes in professional grappling events, and has placed at IBJJF events.

The school teaches Bravo's no-gi system, with a class ladder that takes beginners from zero:

• Intro to Jiu Jitsu: for complete beginners.
• Basics 1 and 2: fundamentals from top and bottom.
• Intermediate: open to all levels.
• Advanced: for students with a solid grasp of the basics and the 10th Planet system.
• Wrestling: stand-up and takedowns.
• EBI Overtime: escapes and finishes from the back and spider-web positions, the starting points used in Eddie Bravo Invitational overtime rounds.

Everything is no-gi. The site does not list kids, women's or MMA classes.
